catching up...

Lexi is now almost 4 months old, but I need to post her 3 month pictures. I think I'm going to try to stick with my New Year's Resolution to follow through with more things.. and try to maybe do new things, but I don't know if that on will stick, lol!

It is seriously crazy how she has grown so much since she was born. It's too fast!

I just love babies. I know a lot of people hate the infant stage and love when they get older and more self-sufficient, but I love when they're teeny tiny too. I just hate that it goes by so fast!

Sesame Street Live :)

For 2 weeks Layla has had a countdown on her Toy Story calendar counting down the number of days to the Elmo Sticker on Wednesday Feb 24th. Every day we would mark off the previous day and see how many days we had left until we got to see Elmo. Sitting through Sesame Street Live was not a new thing for us, this would be Layla's 3rd year of going to see it, but each year she is more excited than the last since she knows what's going on.

We had seats 1, 2, and 3 thank goodness, because all my child wanted to do was dance in the aisle.

She even got hugs from 3 of the cast members. It was actually bringing tears to my eyes at how happy she was!!

Now we count down to Disney on Ice: Princesses next month!!! ;)

trying to make a badge......

FIrst blog post ever..

So I have decided that I want to be one of the "cool" people and have a blog.  I think I'll probably suck at it.. and it will probably be something that I forget about except for random moments. But I guess that's what all blogs are.. random thoughts.  I guess I might be good at that, I'm pretty random, lol.

I think this will be a work in progress.. and it will take some getting used to.  I like to write, I always have.. but my words are usually all over the place and it takes a lot of editing to get them in the right order :)

Today, like most days, is a busy day here.  Layla has music class on Wednesdays and that's always fun.  Except today she was wild and running all over the place.  She's always been her own person though.  All the other kids are clingy and sit with their moms, but not Layla.  She is up and adventuring out all over the place, visiting the other kids and parents.  She comes back to me when she needs to and I guess that's all that matters :)

Lexi is still figuring everything out.  She still likes to look and examine her surroundings like most babies do. She is very inquisitive and likes to be held.  It's different from Layla, their little personalities are already showing how different they are going to be.  Layla is so independent, but Lexi is seemingly more cuddly.  I wonder if she'll stay that way!
